Workout Report: 1/24- 1/30
With Boot Camp over, I’m really trying to keep my momentum going. My goal is to exercise 5 days a week. This past week I did great!
Monday: Jogged to a nearby track (about 1.5 miles away), went 4 times around sprinting the straightaways and jog/walking the bends, and jogged home. My track coach friend Britt says that sprinters have “Big butts and flat guts”. Yes please!

Into the Diva's Den.....
Speaking of fitness, I went to my first Diva Den class today. It was called Look Better Naked. I mean, I could go for that.
The class was pretty fun! It was definitely challenging, regardless of the silly name. It was essentially an aerobic-sculpt class. We did lots of reps with light weights and did a lot of moving around. I know I’m going to feel it tomorrow.

Dog pill report:
This morning Taz rejected pills hidden in Kraft singles, hotdog chunks and Gravy Train (really gross canned dog food).
He was, however, happy to take them hidden in chunks of coffee cake.
Go figure.

If nothing else, I worked out for 13 out of the last 14 days.

Last night I went over to Kay’s and had around four (five?) glasses of wine. I was pretty sure I would regret it during my morning workout, but… I figured it was worth it.
What can I say? I like wine. And sometimes I like drinking too much of it.

After taking a break on Sunday, working out yesterday felt great. Rest days are a very good thing.

Worst night of sleep ever
Taz’s meds have turned him into a anxious panting machine. Last night he was completely out of control. He paced and panted endlessly until we let him on the bed and then he continued to pant with such gusto that he rocked the mattress and I felt like I was on the deck of a ship in foul weather.
Once he did fall asleep, he snored. Loudly.
Also, he’s a terrible bed hog.

They make this stuff called “Pill Pockets” for cats, they must have them for dogs too. You can conceal the pill inside the treat. Cats love em.
Yeah, something like that would probably work for a few days like the hot dogs did.
