Make the Bread, Buy the Butter by one of my favorite bloggers, Jennifer Reese.
Ever since I made bagels on her recommendation a few years ago, I’ve been a huge fan of Jennifer Reese. She’s just so practical. Among many other things, this book contains information on her experiences with goat keeping, so you know I have to have it.

The Colette Sewing Handbook: Inspired Styles and Classic Techniques for the New Seamstress
I emphasize the “new seamstress” part, because that is definitely me. Or rather… I’ve been sewing for a long time technically, but I’m really no good at it and I’ve never made anything that isn’t fundamentally crappy. And I’ve always thought Colette patterns were really cute, so I think this would be a fun book.
A great gift to go with this book? A sewing machine. Haha

A Homemade Life by Molly Wizenburg. Jennifer Reese highly recommends this book and you already know how I feel about her, so…

A Treasury of Knitting Patterns by Barbara Walker
This would probably keep me busy for a year… which means a great gift for NEXT Christmas would be Volume 2.
